The climate in Croatia:
Continental climate dominantes the inland, what means, that the summers are hot and the winters cold. During the summer the average temperature amounts to 25C. During the winter the average temperature amounts to 0. In Northeastern Croatia the annual precipitation amounts to 700 millimetres. Moister is the coast area. Here dominates the Mediterranean climate, in other words, the winters are not that cold, but rainy (average temperature in January 9C) and the summers are hot and sunny (average temperature 28C). Mountain areas located near the coast are the moistest areas in Croatia. Here, the annual precipitation amounts to 3000 millimetres. In Zagreb, the average temperature amounts to 2C in January and to 26C in July. In Dubrovnik the average temperature amounts to 12C in January and 28C in July.
